Partner terms

These terms cover the Arbor Data partner program, run by Arbor Collective LLC.

Joining

The program is free and there's no password: you sign in with a link we email you. Asking for a partner link and confirming your email means you accept the version of these terms shown at the time. We may decline or remove a partner who breaks them.
When you join, we email you a copy of the terms you accepted. We keep a record of every version you accept.
Before your first payout you'll give us accurate identity, payment and tax details.

Companies that might license their operating records, usually with 20 or more staff and three or more years of history in their systems.
Only refer a company after its owner or an authorized executive has agreed to hear from us. Tell them you may be paid for the introduction.
A qualified company is not guaranteed a deal. Buyers decide what they license.

A company is credited to you when its owner fills in our estimate form through your link within 90 days of opening it. That's your general link or the link you got for that company.
Only one partner is credited per company: the one whose link the owner used. A link click alone doesn't count, and companies already talking to us aren't eligible.
We may talk to and work with a company you referred directly. That doesn't affect your credit.

Your reward is 50% of the fee we receive for the deal, with no cap. Our fee is what the buyer pays Arbor Data, after any refunds, chargebacks and payment processing costs.
Your reward is paid by Arbor Data. It never reduces what the company is paid for its data.
A lead, a meeting or a signed contract alone doesn't earn a reward. It's earned when the company is paid.

We pay you within 7 days of receiving our fee for the deal. You're paid only once we've been paid, and we can't promise when a buyer will pay us.
If our fee arrives in installments, we pay you 50% of each one within 7 days of receiving it.
If a deal is cancelled or refunded and our fee shrinks, your reward shrinks with it. We may offset an overpayment against later rewards.
Repeat deals and renewals with a company you referred also earn you a reward while you're a partner and for six months after you leave.

People who join through your recruit link become your sub-partners. Each sub-partner has one recruiter, set when they join, and it can't be changed later.
When a sub-partner earns a reward, you earn a bonus of 10% of our full fee for that deal. It's paid by us on top of their reward, never out of it, and within 7 days of their reward being paid.
Only direct sub-partners count: you don't earn on your sub-partners' recruits. Signing yourself up as your own sub-partner, or creating duplicate accounts, isn't allowed.

Don't promise a price or a deal, and don't offer the company part of your reward or any other inducement.
Don't fill in our estimate form as the company or create accounts in its name. Send the owner your link.
You're an independent partner, not our employee or agent, and you can't make commitments for Arbor Data.

Keep buyer names, pricing and deal details we share with you private, and use them only for your referrals.
We won't go around you to avoid paying a reward you've earned, and you won't use what we share to take a deal around us.

Either of us can end your participation at any time by email. Rewards you've already earned are still paid.
We may publish new versions of these terms. Each version is dated at the top of this page. We'll email you the new version, and when you next sign in we'll ask you to accept it before you refer more companies directly; your link keeps working in the meantime.
Each company you introduce stays under the version you had accepted when you introduced it, including the reward on its deal. Terms we've agreed with you in writing are never silently replaced.
Questions or disputes about a reward: email team@arbordata.ai with the details and we'll explain how it was worked out.
Michigan law governs these terms.
